A - YES. You can book securely online with us. We don't charge any booking fees and you can pay safely by credit or debit card.

Q - Do I have to pay when I book?

A - Once you have selected your dates, completed and submitted the booking form, we will send you a confirmation email after which you will receive an invoice for the deposit and or final balance, which you pay online with a debit or credit card.

Q - How do I know this is a legitimate booking site?

A - Our booking website is safe and secure. We offer all the same safety payment measures as the large booking sites, except you don't have to pay the costly booking fees. However, if you wish to book our holiday home but would prefer to book using the big booking sites and pay a few hundred pounds more, you can book via Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com. Please see our 'Book Now' page for links to those websites.

Q - Where is the closest airport?

A - Malaga is the closest airport. Travel time to the airport is approx 25-30 mins by car/taxi.

Q - Are there transport links to the holiday home from the airport?

Q - There are many ways to transit to and from the airport. Private taxi and shuttle buses can be booked through many companies. We have used the online company Hoppa many times without any problem. Look out for their discount codes. There is a train service from Malaga Airport, that runs as far as Fuengirola, then you can jump on the 220 bus at Fuengirola bus station to Calahonda. Hiring a car is popular, but only more economical if you are looking to get out and see the wider Malaga province.

Q - Are there local buses for getting to other towns and resorts on the coast?

A - There are buses that run through Calahonda to Marbella/Puerto Banus heading west and then heading east to Fuengirola. Buses stop in the towns and villages en-route and are very inexpensive.

Q - How close is the beach, shops and other amenities?

A - It takes around 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars etc. There are four large supermarkets and many major banks in Calahonda.

Q - Is the holiday home Dog Friendly?

A - Yes. Only by request and the cost is £20 per dog. Unfortunately, dogs will not be permitted without prior consent.

Q - Is the holiday home in a large complex?

A - No, the apartment is a small gated community with only 24 units.

Q - Is there parking at La Calahonda?

A - Yes, there is plenty of on-street parking.

Q - Is the local area around La Calahonda holiday home noisy with pubs and restaurants?

A - No, our holiday home area is quiet and is set in a residential area, but close enough to walk to everything.
