Calahonda is a great place to holiday and has everything you need on its doorstep. But you don't have to travel far to visit Marbella, La Cala, Fuengirola or the gorgeous white washed village of Mijas Pueblo, to name just some of the local towns.

 

The location of our Calahonda holiday home couldn't be easier to find as it's just a 20/30 min drive from Malaga airport. If you don't have a car, you can easily take the train from Malaga Airport to Fuengirola for €3 and then hop on the 220 bus from Fuengirola for €1.65 to Calahonda. Or if you prefer a more direct route you can book a taxi to collect you from the airport, and a return journey can cost around €70 depending on whom you book. 

 

Getting around is easy, even if you don't have a car, as there is an inexpensive regular bus service that runs from Calahonda along the coast to all the small villages as well as the large towns and cities both east and west.

 

You can easily pick up the train in Fuengirola to head east to Benalmadena, Torremolinos or the wonderful city of Malaga.
